I am sorry to hear that after 17 years of a committed relationship than marriage that they have decided to separate and divorce. I can only imagine the strains that a celebrity marriage can bring. It's usually a situation of being pulled in too many directions, by too many people with too many stresses. While the initial press release read well with the priority on the children and a divorce with dignity it may still be a little early to tell which direction ultimately they will go.
